HOUNSLOW TOY LIBRARY - Fundraising

for children with disabilities

Hounslow Toy Library is a registered charity - no. 277815. We receive a small grant from London Borough of Hounslow but we need to raise at least £10,000 each year to keep the Toy Library running.

We are always so grateful for donations from friends, local groups and companies, but we work very hard ourselves to raise money.

2009 was a good year for fundraising. We managed to secure a grant from Hounslow's Community Investment Fund.

In December we went carol singing on Richmond Station and raised £482. We also held in-house raffles.

We were delighted to accept a donation of £1000 from Intrepid Security, Hounslow.

We were also given Christmas presents for the children from BSkyB and Imarest for which we say thank-you. We also had a number of donations from supporters of the Toy Library.

During the year Hounslow East Society also gave us a few donations.
